Soft reduction pushes the fruit to the background today but my sense is that it won´t last. The much bigger and more powerful flavors possess a taut muscularity along with a lovely texture thanks to the abundance of dry extract that buffers the compact, serious, balanced and strikingly long finish that is shaped by a firm core of ripe acidity. This is excellent but note well that it´s completely different from the Tillets in that it´s going to require at least some bottle age first.
