Domaine Joblot, Givry 1er Cru Clos de la Servoisine Rouge 2012

A cool, pure and highly perfumed nose speaks of spicy red pinot fruit, earth and soft nuances of wet stone. There is a wonderfully refined mouth feel to the beautifully intense middle weight flavors that are supported by phenolically ripe tannins that are firm but well-integrated, all wrapped in a lightly mineral-infused and impeccably well-balanced finish. This is first rate.
