Reduction and wood aromas reveal little else. There is terrific punch to the beautifully well-detailed middle weight plus flavors that exude a lovely sense of underlying tension on the solidly persistent finish. This isn´t as dense as the Clos de Vougeot but it is a bit finer but even so, plenty of patience will still be necessary.
