An exuberantly spicy nose speaks mostly of sauvage elements on the dark currant, plum, violet and markedly earthy scents. The focused and larger-scaled flavors are less refined with offering plenty of minerality on the more structured, serious and youthfully austere finale. While this could be approached after only 7 to 8 years, it has the stuffing to repay 15+ years of keeping.
