The 2017 Meursault Les Tillets is also showing very well, offering up aromas of Anjou pear, Meyer lemon, fresh pastry, oatmeal and iodine, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and precise palate that marries a delicately sun-kissed core of fruit with racy acids and chalky dry extract. This is well worth seeking out.

An airy and elegant nose offers up cool and smoky aromas of essence of pear and an assortment of citrus elements. The tighter and much more mineral-inflected middle weight flavors possess outstanding delineation on the lilting, indeed almost delicate lemon rind-inflected finish. This is textbook Tillets, which is to say a wine of finesse and refinement.
