Porusot is a Premier Cru vineyard of the Meursault appellation in Burgundy’s Cote de Beaune sub-region. Located (like so many) on the midslope of the Côte d’Or escarpment, the vineyard enjoys a limestone-predominant terroir that is very well suited to the production of high-quality wines made from Chardonnay.

The 11.4 hectare (28 acre) vineyard is in the central section of the Meursault commune, lying roughly equidistant between the village itself and the highly regarded Perrières and Charmes vineyards to the south, on the border with Puligny-Montrachet.
